- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities for preschool-aged children
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment
- Monitor and support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and milestones
- Maintain accurate attendance, developmental records, and daily reports
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, and snacks
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support a positive learning community
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool or early childhood-aged children
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
